We left Virginia Beach on Sunday, September 3rd and headed to Richmond to spend two days with our family.





We rose in the wee hours of the morning on Tuesday, September 5th to continue our trek westward. We had our longest day in front of us and wanted to get an early start. The cars were fully loaded - room enough just for the driver of each, nothing else. We were both full of an incredible anticipation for what is before us – an incredible adventure. We are more than excited to see and experience this great country.

For those of you that know us, you know that we like “themes.” So as not to let any of you down, we have of course themed our adventure - “Things We Didn’t Know About Our Country.”
